About

My purpose is to help support and encourage other Fitness Professionals that spend everyday putting the needs of their staff and clients before their own.

 As trainers, instructors, and managers it is easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed from the pressures of waking up at dawn for a no-show client, dealing with students who do their own thing in your class (so rude!), getting subs, dealing with instructor 'emergencies,' fighting traffic, and a mile-long list of to dos. We are tired and underpaid, and away from our families the majority of the day. We feel guilty when we sacrifice the needs of others and put ourselves first…yet we feel alone and struggle through the day to match the energy our jobs and family demand from us.

I can relate- I started as a personal trainer, added teaching group fitness classes, and became a fitness manager over the last 13+ years. I live 20 miles from work, so my daily commute is pretty crazy! When I started this journey I was worn out at the end of work, undisciplined, and I also struggled with depression. I had my excuses! However, I was done being the victim and scrabbling to keep up with my life. I was done not being fully present in each moment! I decided enough was enough- I took control of my health and made ME a priority for the first time in my life!

I am now stronger and healthier than ever. I am now fully present in each moment and am the partner, friend and leader my family and my team deserve! I feel a sense of purpose as I empower, support and encourage others who train individuals, teach groups, and manage teams. I get to help other fitness pros boost their energy to keep up with this demanding life. I promise to the best of my ability to get you feeling strong in your mind, body, and spirit so that you can love others to your fullest.
