STRONGER TOGETHER

Support and encouragement for Fitness Professionals that spend everyday putting the needs of their staff and clients before their own.

As trainers, instructors, and managers it is easy to feel overwhelmed.

We wake up at dawn for a no-show client, deal with students who do their own thing in your class (so rude!), get subs, deal with instructor 'emergencies,' fight traffic, and a mile-long list of to dos. We are tired and underpaid, and away from our families the majority of the day. We feel guilty when we sacrifice the needs of others and put ourselves first…yet we feel alone and struggle through the day to match the energy our jobs and family demand from us.

I CAN RELATE! I started as a personal trainer, added teaching group fitness classes, and became a fitness manager over the last 13+ years. I live 20 miles from work, so my daily commute is pretty crazy! When I started this journey I was worn out at the end of work, undisciplined, and I also struggled with depression. I had my excuses! However, I was done being the victim and scrabbling to keep up. I was done not being fully present in each moment! I decided enough was enough- I took control of my health and made ME a priority for the first time in my life!

"It was a great day, ate well, burned almost 700 calories kickboxing and drank tons of water. Noticed this morning how much better my skin is in the last two weeks, another bonus! Today I have another tennis match but thankfully won't be hanging around the temptations of the food table...gonna play and bolt!"
